Key Features
Effective relief for painful, stinging mouth ulcers. Suitable for children from 1 year old through to adults.
Taisho Quick Care Ointment for mouth ulcers has been specially developed for the treatment of stomatitis (aphthous ulcers). It adheres firmly to the affected area, covering and treating it for long periods even on the tongue or inside the mouth.
Once applied, the ointment draws moisture to its surface, forming an Aqua Sensor Barrier. This barrier prevents the medicine from easily rubbing off on teeth or the inside of the mouth, while maintaining strong adhesion to the mucous membranes, allowing the ointment to provide long-lasting relief directly to the ulcer.
About Aphthous Ulcers
Aphthous ulcers are small, shallow, painful sores (less than 10mm in diameter) that appear on the inner cheek, tongue, or inside of the lips. They are usually circular, with a red border and a whitish, shallow centre, and may occur singly or in clusters.
How To Use
Apply one or a few times daily as needed, using an appropriate amount on the affected area.
-
- For first use, turn the cap upside down and firmly press the pointed tip into the nozzle of the tube to open it.
- Gently wipe away saliva or moisture from the affected area.
- Take a small amount of ointment on a clean, dry fingertip and press lightly onto the sore, spreading it gently in a single motion. Avoid rubbing repeatedly.
- Before closing the mouth, lightly moisten the surface of the applied ointment with the tip of your tongue. This helps the medicine stay in place.
*The surface of the ointment forms an Aqua Sensor Barrier that firmly covers the ulcer.
*For children under 6, as the mucous membranes are still delicate, use with care and observe their reaction.
